Outstanding Speakers On Issues That Matter

February: Warren County

NAMI In Our Own Voice

NAMI In Our Own Voice is a presentation that educates an audience about mental illness through lived experience. Two trained speakers share their own personal stories about living with mental illness and their journey of recovery. They show how it is possible to live a normal life even with a mental health condition.

Audience members can ask questions and offer the presenters feedback. By participating in the presentation, they can learn about what it is like to live with a mental illness. They also learn what recovery means to each individual, because it can be different for everyone.
